The Company adheres to the Fiesole Organic District and has requested and obtained certification from the Consortium for the protection of Tuscan IGP Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The production of Tuscan IGP responds to a precise series of requirements that cover all phases: from the cultivation of the olives to the packaging of the oil. The production specifications can be consulted on oliotoscanoigp.it .

On 14 October 2019, the Company also subjected itself to a further ICEA control and certification system, to obtain the ICEA organic oil certification, after the mandatory three-year period of compliance with all the conditions required for the certification.
Naturally, both the Consortium for the Protection of Tuscan PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil and ICEA will continue their inspections over time with the due regularity required by the specifications.

The name Azienda Agricola I Quattro Poderi 1328 was inspired by the history of the olive groves used today to produce oil as they were planted at the beginning of the 14th century in the first four farms that the Del Palagio family owned in Fiesole in the Mugnone Valley (Neri dei Del Palagio 1328).
